This was spotted by a friend in Bethesda MD...
Celica with Mercedes badges all over it, a glittering green paint job, and a lovely duct tape rear window...

There are still some people who think that anything with a Mercedes badge must be 'good'. As if cars came in cuts of meat, and Mercedes was the "premium" cut. More expensive, but universally better.
Those people are idiots, and I know many of them, and I have a feeling that at least one or two of them would do something like this. Not because they were a douchebag, but because out of some innocent-dreamer like appreciation, they really wish they could have a prime-cut car.

What's with that lincense plate, the capitol of Indonesia?

Considering it's probably an ST at best your title should read, "Bad things people do to cars..." because this sure don't fall under the "good" category if you ask me. Not that you did, but you kind of did.
GT-Four? Then I'd be outraged.
Any imported (as in, not for NA sales) 6th gen Celica? Same.
But this? Nope. No fucks given.

Nope.
Probably an ST at best, in which case; who gives a flying fuck.
Were this a GT-Four or any imported (read; not for NA sales) 5th Gen Celica, then maybe there'd be cause for outrage. But this? Nope. Zero fucks given.

I'm personally not too familiar with celica's aside from my friends autocross car, and that one handles brilliantly. Things just like to fall off of it...

General rules:
1.) Older is better - forward of the 5th (some say 4th) generation, Celica's became pretty bland FWD boxes.
2.) 4WD means FTW.
3.) 7th Gen could only be had in FWD if I'm not mistaken and outside of a few very well tuned examples, looked the part but didn't play it.
Remember, the Celica had some motorsport heritage and did well as a Rally car but for the most part the 4th, 5th and 6th gen Celica's sold were FWD cars and targeted at a non-enthusiast demographic. That's not true of all of them, mind you, as Japan and Europe got some pretty cool cars but here in Nord Amurika we pretty much got shit fuck shit crap shit ass shit.

not even an ST at best, it's a USDM convertible. so without a doubt it's FWD 5S-FE and probably auto.

Probably the guy who stole my credit card number last week. Thanks Citibank, the HIV positive porn star of financial institutions.
